Its wide light band ensures reliable detection of narrow and misaligned objects, while providing a stable, single trigger signal on irregular contours that would cause false readings with traditional sensors.

Using a point beam may result in incomplete detection of objects or significant delays. When facing irregular contours, it is easy to trigger multiple false alarms.

With adjustable contrast for reliable detection of materials like clear glass, it offers two preset modes: standard resolution (up to 4m range) or high resolution (for objects from 2mm). Parameters are easily set via the onboard controls or finely optimized via the IO-Link interface for superior process control.

Beyond detection, it performs synchronized height measurement. This data, transmitted via IO-Link, enables analytics for sorting and process optimization. Furthermore, the parallel streaming of measurement and status data provides a foundation for predictive maintenance strategies.

Engineered for effortless integration and sustained performance, the R305 features a streamlined “Easy Alignment Mode” for intuitive setup, assisted by a yellow alignment LED. It offers flexible mounting, including a space-saving 90° side-view version.
