K-System Universal Frequency Converter

This Universal Frequency Converter from Pepperl + Fuchs provides isolation for intrinsically safe applications in hazardous areas. Built to last, this capable Universal Frequency Converter changes a digital input signal into a proportional free adjustable 0/4 mA – 20 mA analog output signal and also functions as a switch amplifier and a trip alarm, ideal for numerous intrinsically safe industrial applications.

Featuring a built-in LCD display that shows the measured values which can be displayed in various physical units. The functions of the Universal Frequency Converters switch outputs (2 relay outputs and 1 potential free transistor output) are simple and easy to adjust – trip value display (min/max alarm), serially switched output, pulse divider output, error signal output. Dependable, this Frequency Converter is easily configured by the use of keypad or with the PACTware configuration software.

The built-in LED indicators provide this capable Frequency Converter with fault indication and output status and the removable terminals allow for rapid change-over and wiring. Part of the Pepperl + Fuchs K-System range, this converter is simple to install thanks to its 35mm DIN rail mounting and is easy to integrate and expand to suit your particular application.
